Carol Anne Skinner or more commonly known as Blonde Carol was a woman who lived in the basement flat of 97 Evering Road, in Stoke Newington, London. This was the location where Jack McVitie was killed by Reggie Kray on 29 October 1967.
At the time of McVitie's murder, Skinner was 27-years-old and had been living at 97 Evering Road since 1963. She was married to her husband Colin Skinner for four years until 1964 when he was sent to prison. The couple had two children together and after his release, he occasionally saw them. From 1966, she had been seeing a club houseman George Plummer.
