John "Johnny" Lee was the youngest of the five Lee's and brother to Violet Kray. The maternal uncle of the twins, he worked as a lorry driver, mechanic, part-time racing driver, and was owner of Maude's cafe with his wife, in Vallance Road. He lived in Wilmot Street, Bethnal Green with his in-laws.
